Since March, Kraybill and her colleague Terren Ilana Wein, also of the Divinity School, have been trapping cats and bringing them to a nearby veterinary hospital to be spayed or neutered.

Alderman Leslie Hairston , Susan Campbell, associate vice-president for community and government affairs, and Bill Michel, assistant vp for Student Life, attended a community forum held on Wednesday, where Hairston announced that the controversial #171 bus stop at South University Avenue and East 57st Street would go untouched. Hairston cited overwhelming support voiced for keeping the popular bus stop but insisted on forming consensus in the future.
